We are proud to announce that the sCharger has won it’s first award. After announcing the sCharger’s nomination for the award back in September we were honoured to win at the London award ceremony on the 5th October 2017.
The entries to the British Engineering Excellence Awards (launched in 2009) range from chip designs to massive vehicles, and demonstrates the breadth and depth of the UK’s engineering capabilities – a field which we are very proud to be part of.
We were nominated in the Mechanical Product of the Year Category. The judges were looking for an engineering product where an innovative approach had been used to meet a specific market need. The applications were evidence based and had to include indications on how long it would take/had taken to get the innovations to market.
The comments on our sCharger pointed out that there remains a pressing need to improve the performance of small engines and hybrids. Our technology, the sCharger returns the response provided by traditional superchargers without including the power wastage. In a nutshell we are able to give smaller powered engines the boost they need to perform on par with larger engines without compromising with turbo-lag.
We are so proud to have won this award. Last year we were nominated for our eCharger and this year we are winners with our latest release.
Thank you BEEA!
