We're hiring a Project Manager

As Aeristech continues to grow, we are recruiting a Project Manager to help us shift from prototypes to volume manufacturing and  deliver high speed electric motor and controller technology for Hydrogen Fuel Cells, Industrial Air, and a wide range of other applications.

Project Manager

Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and delivering exciting R&D projects ensuring that key deliverables are achieved within financial and time constraints to meet external customer and internal business requirements.  

Ensure customer and stakeholder relationships are managed effectively and that communication on project status and requirements are fully managed.  You will be expected to be maintain a professional attitude to the job and in the way you conduct yourself. You must be capable of communicating at all levels of the business and with external stakeholders where required.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Programme Manager, as a Project Manager at Aeristech your main responsibilities will be:

  • Plan and coordinate internal resources to deliver the projects.  
  • Establish, maintain & manage relationships with customers and stakeholders.  
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress and project performance.  
  • Lead project review meetings to stakeholders of all levels.  
  • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs.  
  • Capture and evaluate project risks and work with stakeholders to minimise and mitigate impacts to projects.  
  • Create and maintain project documentation.  
  •  Support new project proposals.  
  • Prepare and maintain project pack documentation for monthly reviews.
  • Support management of engineering change processes.
  • Support the finance team in the process of financial reporting.



Knowledge & Experience

  • Degree educated, preferably in the field of engineering.  
  • Either PRINCE2 or PMP project certifications desirable but not essential.  
  • Ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Excellent organisational skills including attention to detail.  
  • Microsoft Office knowledge to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
  • Automotive or Industrial engineering sector (or similar engineering environment)  
  • Management of cross functional teams.  
  • Working as part of and delivery of automotive & industrial projects (or similar R&D projects).    
  •  Experience of phase gate methodologies.

Salary

£40,000 - £50,000/annum with standard benefits
